Rainy Spring

Blue Mountains drive

I drove to the Blue Mountains over the last weekend to visit a friend who lives and works as an artist in Wentworth Falls. We drove to the lookout “Govett’s Leap” near Black Heath and we had only a few minutes before the rain moved in. Although the weather wasn’t exactly perfect for sightseeing I enjoyed the moodiness of the day and the overcast wet weather somehow brought out the colours of the sandstone and Eucalypts in the mountains. It’s just such an amazing place to have so close to the city and it’s an easy drive for a quick get away and a good dose of fresh air.
